Akira is the grandson of the man, who developed special martial arts techniques during the Second World War. When Akira was 23 years old he finished training under his grandfather and started to travel the world to test his skills. When the World Torunament was announced he decides to enter to test himself. But because of his attitude and inexperience he lost to Kage in the tournament. After some training he returns to the Second World Tournament to test his skills once more. He won the tournament and returned home. But his grandfather told him, that he hadn't learned anything yet. Akira had to learn the meaning of true strength. He enters the Third World tournament to proove to his grandfather, that he knows its meaning. He didn't win the tournament and returned home disappointed. His grandfather encouraged him to continue his training. Akira returned to train in the mountains to find the true strength. His training was interrupted, when he received the invitation to the Fourth World Tournament. He decides to enter, hoping to find out the meaning of the true strength there. Akira once again lost to Kage. He could not understand how it happened and started to doubt his training. But one day he saw how a light leaf, floating in the wind, could avoid a big boulder without even touching it. He understood, that he was resisting the flow and decides to continue his training. When he receives the invitation to the fifth tournament he decides to enter, now hoping to hold his own against Kage. Akira Yuki's Games
