Amy Sorel

When Amy was very young she lost her parents to the plague. She had nowhere to go. One day she came across a man named Raphael. He was chased by the local authorities. She decided to help and hide him because she despised the authorities. Because no one showed this kindness to him before Raphael wanted to repay the young girl. He decided to adopt her.

One day Raphael returned home after a battle against Nightmare. Although Nightmare left him alive, Raphael was wounded. Amy treated his wounds. Because his blood was infected by the Soul Edge both, Raphael and Amy, got infected. By day they were weak, but by night they became very strong.

They later moved to a castle in Romania. One day people attacked the castle. Raphael left and killed everyone. He started to build a new world for him and Amy. Amy knew she would be the one protecting this world.

Raphael didn't return for a long time, when he went to search for Soul Edge. Amy knew this would be a long journey, but she still was worried about him. She decides to leave the castle and search for him.
