Ashrah

Ashrah is a demon from Netherrealm. She was once under the orders of Quan Chi in his Brotherhood Of The Shadow. Once she refused to execute an order. To teach her a lesson, Quan Chi sends her sister to kill her. Ashrah managed to escape. She later found a sword, Kriss. She killed a demon with it and felt like a part of her was purified. She decides to kill demons with the sword to fully purify herself so that the Netherrealm can hold her pure spirit.

But Ashrah is unaware that this sword is actually meant to give the user a false feeling of purification, so that the user will continue to kill demons and vampires.

During her demon hunting she attacked Ermac, because she thought that he was a demon. When Onaga returned, Ashrah was searching for Noob Saibot, because she thought he was a powerful demon. She thought by killing him she should be fully purified.

While slaying demons in Netherrealm she transported to another dimension. There she was transformed by beings of light into their champion. They send her to the realm of vampires, where she should kill every vampire.

While killing the vampires she encountered Nitara. Nitara managed to defeat Ashrah. After the battle Nitara escaped through a portal to Edenia. Ashrah followed her to gain the power, which is within Blaza to kill Nitara.
