Chizuru Kagura

Chizuru and her twin sister, Maki, are the only heiresses of the Yata clan. because of this their duty is to keep the Orochi seal intact.

Once Leopold Goenitz visited their home. His intention was to destroy the seal free Orochi. Maki fought with Goenitz, but was fatally wounded. Goenitz managed to release the weakened Orochi. Happy with his progress Goenitz left. Before Maki died she told Chizuru to once again form an alliance with the other two clans to defeat and seal away Orochi.

After this Chizuru became a very successful businesswoman. She was keeping track of all King Of Fighters tournaments. When the time was right she decided to host her own tournament in hopes, that Kyo and Iori would agree to help her seal away Orochi. At first they both didn't want to help, but eventually they succeeded to defeat Orochi.

She eventually hosted the King Of Fighters 97 tournament, but at that time she was under the control of a member from Those From The Past, Botan. When she was able to break free from Botan's control, she wanted to use the Yata mirror to restore the Orochi seal. But she was unable to finish her task because Ash attacked her and stole her Yata mirror.

After this she was unable to participate in any King Of Fighters tournaments. She asked Shingo to take her place at the events. She still receives the latest information on the ongoing events with the help of Benimaru.
