Cody

Cody grew up in Metro City and survived by fighting in the streets.

When the members of the Mad Gear gang kidnapped his girlfriend Jessica, Cody tamed-up with Jessica's father, Mike Haggar and Guy to save her. They eventually manage to save Jessica, but Cody feels that he can not rest while the streets are still filled with evil and leaves to travel.

He later returns to find Jessica missing and Mad Gear gang returning. He tries to find Jessica and battles Mad Gear members, but along the way he's being setup by Poison for crimes, that she committed.

Later Cody actually commits a crime. This leads to him willingly going to jail. Because of that Guy was very disappointed in Cody.

When a riot happened in the prison where Cody was held, he escaped. Along the way he met Guy, with whom he fought because Guy wanted to reform Cody back to a good person. After the fight Guy realized that Cody is still a decent person with his own path in life.

Cody also met Rolento, who wanted to recruit Cody in his new army, but was disappointed to see Cody to be a criminal and not the hero of Metro City, whom he once fought.

Cody later wound up in prison once again, but broke out again due to his boredom. He decides to participate in the S.I.N. sponsored tournament to find some excitement.

After the tournament Cody once again returns to prison, because he thinks he belongs to be there.
