Cyrax

Cyrax was one of the top assassins of the Lin Kuei. He was one of the members, who was turned into a cyborg. He, alongside Sektor and Smoke, was send to kill Sub-Zero, who left the clan because he was against turning the warriors into cyborgs.

During Shao Khan's invasion of the Earthrealm Cyrax fought with Sub-Zero and lost. He was reprogrammed by Sub-Zero to kill Shao Khan. But because Shao Khan was defeated by other Earthrealm warriors, Cyrax had no objective and was walking aimlessly.

He was eventually found and fixed by the Lin Kuei. He was once again send on a mission, but now Sektor was to observe Cyrax's actions. After the defeat of Shinnok, Cyrax started to see visions of his former life. He was found by Jax and Sonya and brought to their headquarters. There they user their technology to give him his humanity back. After this he joined Jax and Sonya and fought on their side.

Later, when Cyrax was on a mission in Outworld, he was attacked by two Oni: Moloch and Drahmin. Cyrax was able to fend them off by using his grenades.

He was also later attacked by Reptile, who was send by Nitara. While fighting Reptile, Cyrax's arm console was damaged and he could not teleport back to Earthrealm.

Nitara later approached him and offered a deal. She would send him back to Earthrealm if he recovered an artefact for her. Cyrax agreed and recovered an orb from the place where the last remaining dragon egg was held. Nitara kept her promise and transported him back to his home world.
