Frost

When Sub-Zero became the leader of the Lin Kuei he started recruiting new members. Eventually he recruited Frost and started training her himself. Frost became stronger and her ice powers grew with time. With her powers also her arrogance grew. Sub-Zero tried to teach her humility, but was unsuccessful.

Later Sub-Zero was asked by Raiden for help against the Deadly Alliance. Sub-Zero agreed to help and took Frost with him, so she could learn through experience. After the meeting with other Earthrealm warriors Sub-Zero and Frost travelled to Outworld.

When the opportunity was right Frost revealed her true intentions. She wanted to gain control over the Lin Kuei. She temporarily froze Suz-Zero and took the Dragon Medallion from him. Not being able to control the powers of the medallion she was swallowed by her own powers.

Sub-Zero decided to forgive her betrayal, because she already paid the ultimate price. He wanted to bury her remains in a suitable place. While in Outworld he found a temple, which belong to a race of people, who had control over ice powers, like Sub-Zero and Frost. Those people were their ancestors.

Sub-Zero decided to leave Frost's body there. After some time Frost awoke. She realized, that Sub-Zero left her there and she wanted to have revenge on him. She returned to the Lin Kuei temple and in a frenzy she started to kill all Lin Kuei members, thinking they were Sub-Zero. When the actual Sub-Zero returned he froze Frost in a ice coffin and placed her on an altar until her frenzy could be cured and she could be trialled for her sins.

But before she could be cured Frost managed to free herself from the block of ice. When that happened Taven was near the altar. While still in her frenzy she thought that Taven was Sub-Zero and attacked him. But she later realizes, that he is not Sub-Zero and she leaves to find the real Lin Kuei master.
