Hinako Shijou

Hinako is young girl who goes to an all-girl school. She grew very fund of sumo wrestling after watching a professional match. She tries to form a sumo club in her school, but she doesn't get enough support from other students.

She later hears about the auditions for the Women Team for the King Of Fighters tournament. She decides to try out, to help promote her sumo club idea, and manages to gain a spot on the team, when she defeats Yuti Sakazaki in a test match. After that she became a frequent member of this team, but later joined Athena Asamiya and Malin in the High School Girl team.
