Jade

Jade was a childhood friend of Kitana. Once Shao Khan invaded Edenia, Jade and Kitana were trained to be his personal assassins. Little did Kitana know that Jade was trained to kill her if she would betray the Emperor.

When Kitana finally turned on the Emperor and joined the forces of Earthrealm, Jade was sent by Shao Khan to capture Kitana together with Reptile. But later Jade decided to join her friend and together they managed to fight off Reptile.

After the defeat of Shao Khan, Jade became the general of the Edenian Army and lead the forces against the forces of Outworld.

Once the Deadly Alliance made its move Jade wanted to join the fight, but sadly she couldn't get there in time. Her friends were defeated by Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. But that was not the end of it. Onaga returned from the dead, ressurected the Earthrealm warriors and imprisoned Queen Sindel, with the help of the Edenian traitor, Tanya.

Jade managed to free Sindel from her imprisonment. To do that she had to fight her friend, Kitana, who was under the control of Onaga.

After Onaga's defeat Jade, together with Sindel, managed to save Kitana from his control. When Armageddon started Jade fought on the side of good, but was killed.

After Raiden managed to change the timeline, Jade was present at the first Mortal Kombat tournament to help assure the victory of Outworld by assassinating the Earthrealm warriors outside of the tournament fights together with Kitana.

After Shang Tsung's defeat by the hands of Liu Kang, Jade returned to Outworld.

When Kitana started to suspect something about Shao Khan's behavior and decided to investigate The Flesh Pits, Jade tried to stop Kitana, but she was defeated by her. When Kitana was captured and sentenced to execution, Jade tried to free her friend, but failed. Jade took the advice of Kitana and asked Raiden and the forces of Earthrealm for help.

After Shao Khan was defeated by Liu Kang and Kitana was freed, Jade joined the forces of Earthrealm and fought against the invasion of Outworld. But the recently ressurected Queen Sindel attacked them. Jade was killed in this attack alongside many other Earthrealm warriors.

Because of the pact made by Quan Chi and Shao Khan, Jade's soul, together with the other warriors, now belongs to Quan Chi.
