K'

K' was once a normal child, who lived a normal life with his sister. But one day they were both kidnapped and experiments were performed on them. The organization, who kidnapped them, was NESTS. They decided to use K' in the Kyo Kusanagi cloning program. K' was infused with Kyo's DNA and was given the power to control flames. He was also brainwashed and made believe, that he is just a clone of Krizalid. All his previous memories were removed.

Under NESTS orders, K' and his asigned partner Maxima join the King Of Fighter tournament in the same team with Benimaru and Shingo. They manage to reach the finals where they face Krizalid. K' manages to defeat him and finds out that Krizalid was merely a pawn. Maxima and get separated from their team and later decide to leave the NESTS organization. Now K's goal was to restore his memories.

Next year K' and Maxima once again enter the King Of Fighters tournament, but this time alongside Vanessa and Ramon, who unknown to K' were ordered to capture them after the tournament. After reaching the finals K's team fights against Zero and K' wins. After the tournament he is approached by Whip. She explains their relation to one another and joins them in the fight against NESTS.

They start to destroy NESTS bases around the world, but none of them were actually the main base. They eventually meet the real Zero in the King Of Fighters 2001 tournament, who is worried that they are on the way to find the main headquarters. They eventually were able to reach the main base, which was actually on a satellite in space. There they met Igniz, the real leader of NESTS. K' managed to defeat him. This motivated Igniz to set the satellite on the course to crash into Earth. But with the help of Lin the satellite crashed into the ocean.

After NESTS organization was destroyed, K' made an alliance with Diana and Kula Diamond, who he sees as a little sister.

Mamxima and K' were later visited by Chin Gentsai, who asked them to join the King Of Fighters 2003 torunament and investigate a mysterious evil energy. K's team eventually reaches the finals where they meet Mukai. Although K' was able to defeat him, Mukai's taunting about his memories and being just a second to Kyo still haunts him.

In the next tournament, still haunted by Mukai's words, K' wants to prove, that he's more than just a clone of Kyo. After the tournament Heidern invited K' and Maxima to attent a special meeting, where The Those From The Past, were discussed.
