Kabal

Kabal was a member of the Black Dragon Clan. When Shao Khan attacked Earthrealm, Kabal's soul was spared, but his body was mutilated. He could only survive with a machine attached to him. His soul was spared because he was one of the chosen warriors. He decided to abandon his evil ways and fight on the side of good.

After Shao Khan's defeat Kabal was found by Mavado, who is from the Red Dragon Clan. Mavado almost killed Kabal and took his swords as a trophy. Kabal almost died, but he was found and healed by Havik. Havik told Kabal to reform the Black Dragon Clan to promote chaos. Kabal, feeling obligated to Havik, agrees and recruits Kobra and Kira as new members. He leads his new and reformed Black Dragon Clan to Outworld.

Later Kabal meets Taven and invites him to join the Black Dragon Clan. Taven refused and Kabal attacked him, but Kabal eventually lost to Taven.
