Kunimitsu Kunimitsu's Bio
Kunimitsu was a member of the Manji Clan, but her corrupt and selfish actions left Yoshimitsu, the clan leader, no choice. He banished her from the clan. She entered the first King Of Iron Fist tournament to steal the treasure from Mishima Zaibatsu, which was stolen from Native Americans in the first place. After the first King Of Iron Fist Tournament she went into hiding. She decided to enter the second King Of Iron Fist Tournament to steal Yoshimitsu's sword, which held great power. She met and fought Yoshimitsu during the tournament, but was defeated and killed. Kunimitsu's Games

Kunimitsu was not killed nor it was canonical in the tekken storyline, whoever told you she's dead made a huge mistake. That's what happened when people thought Jun was killed by Ogre which was not true either. Yoshi didn't kill Kuni.
