Leona Heidern

When Leona was a child she lived in a village, where everyone ware members of the Orochi bloodline. Once Goenitz came to the village to talk to her father, the village's leader, Guidel. Goenitz wanted the village to join him in following Orochi, but Guidel refused because he liked the peaceful life of the village. Goenitz left enraged. Later he activated The Riot Of Blood in Leona, which caused her to kill everyone in the village. After this she lost her memory. She was found and adopted by Heidern.

Because of her natural strength and fighting ability she was trained by Heidern to become a soldier. Her first mission was to take Heidern's place in the Ikari Team during the King Of Fighters 96 tournament. Their team was assigned to monitor the actions of Geese. During the tournament she meets Goenitz and her reminds her, who she really is.

All what has happened during the tournament led Leaona to be very worried and this led to her and her team's suspension from the military. Since Ralf wanted to cheer her up he signs the Ikari Team into the King Of Fighters 97 tournament. During the tournament her Riot Of Blood was activated again, due to high presence of Orochi. She attacked her team mates. They survived, but this led to Leona's suicide attempt. She was stopped by Ralf and he convinced her to live her life.

During the following years she entered the King Of Fighters tournaments alonside Ralf and Clark to investigate the NESTS organization. But during the King Of Fighters 2003 tournament she her Riot Of Blood was activated again and she attacked her team mates, injuring them.

After this Heidern didn't allow her to join the next King Of Fighters tournament until she recovered from her trauma.
