Ling Xiaoyu

Ling, since she was a little girl, dreamed of having her own amusement park. She also studies martial arts under Wang Jinrei, but her childish behavior kept her from archiving greatness. But despite that she is still a great fighter.

When she was on vacation with her family on the beach she saw a yacht, that belonged to Heihachi Mishima. She remembered that Heihachi is a very rich man and can make her dream come true. She manages to get herself on the yacht, but is captured by security.

Heihachi is informed about the intruder, but when he gets there he finds his bodyguards beaten up by Ling. She demands that Heihachi builds her an amusement park. Heihachi, amused by the girl, tells her he will do that only if she wins his tournament.

Ling moves to Japan and starts going to school there, where she meets Jin Kazama. She also brings her pet Panda, who was thought to fight by Heihachi to be Ling's bodyguard.

Two years later Ling became bored of her life. But one day she received an e-mail telling her, that Heihachi is an evil man and she shouldn't trust him. She tries making contact with the sender with no result. She thinks that the sender is Jin and decides to join the fourth King Of Iron Fist Tournament to meet him there. She meets Jin during the tournament and he tells her to live her live with her own strength and not through Heihachi.

She later learns about Heihachi's death and is saddened by it. She remembers the story about Heihachi and Kazuya's relationship, which was told to her by Yoshimitsu. She thinks, that if Heihachi didn't toss Kazuya off a cliff, then they would be a normal family. She meets a scientist, who tells her that it is possible to change time, but he needs money to finish his time machine. Ling decides to join the fifth King Of Iron Fist Tournament to win the prize money and build the time machine to stop Heihachi from dropping his son off a cliff.

After Ling learns that Heihachi is still alive she decides to drop out from the tournament. But when Jin became the CEO of the Mishima Zaibatsu the world was send into chaos. Ling wanted to talk to Jin, but because of the tightened security she couldn't get to him.

She enters the sixth King Of Iron Fist tournament to reach Jin in the finals and save his soul from evil.
