Marshall Law's Bio

Marshall is the father of Forest Law and a close friend of Paul Phoenix.

He joins the first King Of Iron Fist Tournament to start his own dojo and teach martial arts. He manages to get the needed money by being a runner-up in the tournament.

Later his dojo was attacked by Baek Doo San. Baek left a message that he will be participating in the second King Of Iron Fist Tournament. Marshall joins the tournament to find Baek and have his revenge and he manages to do so.

Years later he opened restaurant, but was bankrupt because of a more successful competitor. He became an alcoholic drinking his grief away. But when he heard of the fourth King Of Iron Fist Tournament he gets back into shape and joins the tournament to win the prize money and get back on his feet.

Marshall didn't manage to win and stayed in Japan working as a dish washer. He later received a call from his wife from America. She informed him that his son, Forest, was in serious accident while riding Paul's bike. Marshall now had medical bills to pay. When he heard of the fifth King Of Iron Fist Tournament he joins to end his money problems.

But when it was discovered that Marshall was working in Japan illegally he was deported back to America. He still needed to pay his debts, but he had no money. Paul proposed that they enter the sixth King Of Iron Fist Tournament as a team and split the money, because there's a better chance of winning as a team. Marshall agreed and proposed adding a third team member to make their chances even better. He thought Steve Fox could be a good addition to their team.
