Orochi

Orochi is a godly being, who was born from the Earth itself. Because of this it refers to itself as Gaia's will. It became the guardian of Earth. Orochi had followers, who were known as Hakkesshu. But eventually Earth was overpopulated by humans and Orochi decided to wipe out the humans.

Orochi fought with the humans, but three clans managed to defeat Orochi with the help of three mystical objects. Those three clans were Kusanagi, Yata and Yasakani.

Orochi was sealed away, but even in this state it was able to feel, that Earth is being populated by humans.

Orochi still had still followers, who were working on releasing him. During King Of Fighters 97 tournament Orochi managed to posses the body of one of his followers, Chris. He changed his body to look like a grown man. Although it was weak it still wanted to erase the humans from the existence.

Orochi was defeated and sealed away by the same three mystical objects.

Later the seal was broken once again by Those From The Past. After this Ash Crimson started to steal the treasures, which are able to seal away Orochi, one by one.
