Valeria

Valeria in a daughter of an antique seller. After her mother died because of an illness her father left her in the care of his friend, Cepheus. Because her father was always away working, Valeria started despising him. Since she started to show an interest in her father's job, Cepheus gave her the same job, so she could understand it better. But this only lead to Valeria's desire to beat her father at what he did.

Cepheus always tried to convince her father to stay with her, but this was pointless. Valeria's father only knew how to make money by selling antiques. One day he went to sell a mysterious sword known as Soul Edge and he never returned.

Cepheus later heard about Nightmare and his connection to Soul Edge. Because of this Cepheus understood the reason why Valeria's father had disappeared. He told her the whole situation. Valeria grieved for her father and only then she started to understand his desire in life.

After this she wanted to become the greatest antique seller in the world. She still works for Cepheus in his shop together with two other girls.
