Yuri Sakazaki

Her father Takuma decided to teach Ryo how to fight rather, than spend time with Yuri. Later her mother was killed in a car accident and her father disappeared after he went to investigate the mysterious accident. After that Yuri became very dependant on Ryo.

One day Mr.Big kidnapped her to blackmail Takuma into doing his bidding. While she was kidnapped she found out, that Mr.Karate was actually her father. When Ryo came searching for her, she told him who Mr.Karate actually was and saved Takuma from being killed by Ryo.

After Mr.Big was defeated the Sakazaki family was finally reunited. Takuma decides to teach Yuri how to fight to protect herself.

Once when Robert didn't show up for their date Yuri begins to worry. Yuri along with Ryo decide to search for Robert, but she eventually gets wounded and has to be hospitalized.

Yuri decides to enter the King Of Fighters tournament to test her skills, but Ryu doesn't allow it. She decides to enter anyway alongside Mai and King in one team.

She was part of the Women team until 1996 tournament when Takuma told her to take her place in the tournament.

After the 1999 King Of Fighters tournament she asks King to take her place in the Art Of Fighting Team and once again rejoins the Women Team to show her independence.

In the 2001 she joins the King Of Fighters tournament to help Robert with his financial situation.

In the King Of Fighters Xi tournament she finds a rival in Marlin.
