The box art was released for Injustice: Gods Among Us, which confirms two more additions to the character roster.
The first one is Joker, who was already teased in stage demos, where he appeared in the Batcave stage, with his image on a computer screen.
The second addition is also a no surprise. Green Lantern appeared in the Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and is quite popular and iconic in the DC Universe.
Another character was announced for Injustice: Gods Among Us. This time it's Green Arrow. It should be noted that Green Arrow's first fighting video game appearance was in Justice League: Task Force. He is also the first character from the game, who has an official promotional render image.

At Tokyo Game Show, NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us game. The trailer unfortunately does not introduce new characters to the roster, but shows of more gameplay footage of characters like Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Nightwing and Cyborg.
Also in the beginning of trailer you can see some lines from the Story Mode of the game. It is still unclear what the story is, but we can assume that Batman plays a major role in the plot and maybe he's the main reason for the conflict of the game.

Mr. Boon talks about their newest revealed character for Injustice, which is Catwoman. He also tries to make clear that Injustice is its own game and not just a reskin of Mortal Kombat and does not follow the same template.
